Our Team

Melissa Auger, PTA
Melissa received an associate degree in physical therapist assistant in 2015 from Ohlone College in California, and a bachelor's degree in business from University of Oregon in 2005. She specializes in orthopaedic and pelvic floor physical therapy. She moved to Maine in 2019 from California. Melissa also has a background in personal training and group fitness instruction.

Jennifer Major, P.T., DPT
Jennifer received her doctorate of physical therapy from University of New England in 2007. Prior to UNE she graduated from Wellesley College with a bachelor's in English. Her focus in physical therapy is lower extremity mechanics and pelvic health. She is also a certified yoga teacher and employs the principles of breath work and balance in her practice.

Marie Dittmer , P.T.
Marie graduated with her master's degree from Springfield College in 1991. She has added pelvic health therapy techniques to deepen her orthopaedic offerings to both women and men. Her philosophy combines expertise with manual techniques, and her bias that the neurology of the body should be celebrated, with movement retraining. Her interest in teaching movements of the body began in her youth, when she was a competitive gymnast. She has worked with athletes of all levels, professional dancers and women during pregnancy, post-partum and moving through menopause. She also enjoys working with patients post-surgery and with patients suffering from headaches and TMJ.
