Our Team

Mouna Goyette, P.T., DPT, FAAOMPT

Mouna received a bachelor's degree in health studies, doctorate of physical therapy and Fellowship of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from Boston University. She has spent most of her career working in small mountain towns, developing a passion for treating an active population. Her clinical interests and continuing education pursuits include running analysis, Nordic and downhill skiing rehabilitation, concussion and vestibular management, ACL rehabilitation and return to sport protocol. Mouna received mid-career motivation after her own traumatic ski injury, resulting in an ACL/meniscus tear and knee reconstructive surgery. Humbled on the patient-side of the rehabilitation and return to sport journey, Mouna was further inspired to provide exceptional and dedicated care to get her patients back to the life that they love. She enjoys trail running, hiking, biking, split boarding and gardening. She volunteers locally as the Chairperson of the Mount Washington Avalanche Center Foundation.

Jeffrey Hanson, MPT

Jeff has almost 25 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, and is in his 20th year of practicing physical therapy in the Mount Washington Valley. Jeff moved to the Valley from Philadelphia in 2004 with his family and spent five years practicing at Mountain Center Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab in Conway. In 2009, Jeff assisted with the opening of MC's second satellite center in Glen as the original physical therapist and manager. He has been honing his craft while helping to grow the Glen center ever since. Jeff has two years of fellowship training in Manual & Medical Exercise Therapy, and is certified as an ergonomics assessment specialist. He lives in North Conway with his wife and has three adult children. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking and traveling.

Karen has been practicing as a physical therapist for over 35 years, having graduated with a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. The first part of her career was spent working in the area of adult and pediatric developmental disabilities. Since moving to the Mount Washington Valley 27 years ago, her focus has been in outpatient rehabilitation, with special interests including aquatic therapy and a Pilates approach to rehabilitation. She became a certified Kinesio Tape practitioner in 2014. She enjoys hiking, biking and skiing of all kinds, including telemark, Nordic and backcountry.
