We keep you moving
From diagnosis, to non-operative symptomatic care to recovery after surgery, OrthoVive is a specialty program that uses proven practices through specially-trained rehabilitation experts to manage the progression of joint disease, giving you the power you need to continue to take part in the activities that matter to you.
Empowerment with non-operative treatments
Our therapists use the most-current rehabilitation techniques as the first step in disease treatment to keep the joints as strong as possible while managing pain and maintaining function. This means providing you with tools—including education, exercise and guidance—to manage pain, improve function and enhance mobility overall.
Through one-on-one evaluation and attention, we address symptoms of joint disease—pain, swelling, stiffness, muscle weakness, loss of range of motion and reduced function.
Enhancing recovery after surgery
Joint replacement is a life changing procedure, OrthoVive Joint Health experts prepare you both mentally and physically for what is and what is to come, including setting you up for a faster, stronger recovery.
Our therapists go above-and-beyond to set you up for the greatest success.
-
Prehabilitation care, or prehab, strengthens patients before surgery. Studies show the stronger a patient goes into surgery, the stronger they come out, sometimes eliminating or reducing hospital stays and providing a faster recovery. Prehab is a series of appointments in the weeks leading up to surgery, focusing on muscle strengthening, flexibility and balance.
-
A pre-operative educational visit is a one-time appointment that sets after surgery recovery expectations, reviews post-operative safe mobility, addresses patient questions and prepares you for surgery.
-
Post-operative rehabilitation and guidance helps you meet your post-surgery goals through guided intervention to recover strength, motion, balance and independent function. Through a series of visits with your therapist, you’ll progressively strengthen the new joint and improve flexibility through our structured program. The frequency and total length of post-operative rehabilitation varies from patient to patient based on starting strength, progress and goals.
Confidence through booster visits
Our standardized program, built around nationwide best-practices and evidence-based techniques and treatment, includes booster visits along the patient journey.
Booster visits are structured, follow-up rehabilitation sessions between various stages of joint disease, designed to enhance and maintain the benefits of rehabilitation therapy. These check-ins allow our joint experts to keep you on track with care plans, assess where adjustments need to be made and alter plans as needed for longevity of progress.
