Katie Nolan-Dedham, Patient Service Specialist

Katie earned her bachelor's in business management from the University of Maine. She has spent the last 15 years as the office manager at an outpatient, speech-language pathology center. Now, Katie is taking on the new role of patient service specialist with Saco Bay Kids Pediatric Therapy, and looks forward to supporting other specialists in the rehabilitation field. When not at the office, Katie is a professional photographer, an avid bibliophile and takes every opportunity possible to see live music. Her love of family, friends and community are the driving forces behind her smile.

Fran Bodkin , M.A., CCC-SLP

Fran enjoys working with both children and adults, addressing needs in medical and educational fields. Her master's in speech-language pathology is from the University of Maine at Orono. Fran has many professional talents and enjoys the assessment and treatment of infants and preschool children with feeding and swallowing concerns. Fran lives with her husband and two children in Acton.

Christine Mcauley, M.S., CCC-SLP

Christine earned a bachelor's in speech and language disabilities from Elmira College in 2011. She returned to her hometown to complete a master's in communication sciences and disorders at the University of New Hampshire in 2013. She has worked at the Center for Communication (now Saco Bay Kids ) in Springvale since that time, treating patients across the lifespan in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, schools and private practice. Her professional interests include pediatric feeding and language disorders, motor speech disorders, augmentative and alternative communication as well as assessment and treatment of reading and written language skills. Christine enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her dogs, family and friends.

Yvonne Michaud, M.S., CCC/SLP

Yvonne completed a master's in speech-language pathology at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2003, focusing on adult neurorehabilitation, voice and swallowing disorders. During her fellowship year, she gained clinical experience at the Albuquerque VA Medical Center, specializing in inpatient services at the Spinal Cord Injury Center and adult outpatient services. Since her return to New England in 2005, she has worked in various settings, including schools, hospitals, nursing homes and private centers. Dedicated to her profession, she has offered clinical supervision to graduate student clinicians and clinical fellows, creating a supportive learning environment. She strives to establish a positive and nurturing environment that promotes support and motivation for individuals to progress toward their personal goals and development. She enjoys camping, scenic drives, lake floats and amusement park visits with her husband and two sons.

Marisa Carbone, P.T., DPT

Marisa was born and raised in Scarborough, Maine and is happy to be back in Maine joining the Saco Bay team. She graduated with a bachelor's in Health Science from Franklin Pierce University in 2021. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of New England in 2024. She has always wanted to work in pediatrics as is passionate about helping kids discover their full potential. She has clinical experience working with children with a wide variety of neurological diagnoses.

Christine Annable, M.S., CCC-SLP

Christine completed a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders at the University of New Hampshire. Since that time, she has worked in settings such as schools and private practices. She enjoys working with both children and adults. Her professional interests include the assessment and treatment of early childhood language disorders, with an emerging interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing. Christine enjoys spending time at the beach with her dogs, family and friends, as well as baking and gardening.

Arianna Nielsen, O.T., M.S., OTR

Ari is a passionate, pediatric occupational therapist dedicated to supporting children and families in reaching their full potential. With extensive experience in child development, sensory integration and emotional regulation, she helps children overcome challenges related to sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation and independence in daily activities. Ari believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with families and other professionals to create a supportive environment that fosters meaningful progress. She is committed to creating individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique strengths, interests and needs.

Amanda Tingley, MEd, M.S., CCC-SLP

Amanda has a passion for working with children. She spent the first part of her career as a classroom teacher and completed her first master's degree in educational counseling. Her second master's degree in speech-language pathology is the perfect combination of teaching and counseling. She enjoys going to the beach, doing yoga and spending time with her family and two adorable rescue pups.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational and speech therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy helps children build social skills. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
