Saco Bay Kids Pediatric Therapy helps children with their physical, occupational or speech therapy needs. Our highly trained clinical team will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for your child. Our Team

Brianna Shaw, MOT, OTR/L, Center Manager

Bri received a bachelor's degree in human development at Rivier University in 2016 and a master's degree in occupational therapy at the University of Southern Maine in 2020. Bri has experience working with children with autism, emotional regulation challenges, sensory processing difficulties and developmental delays. She also has experience with neurological impairments and diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida and Rett syndrome. One of Bri's specialty areas of practice is feeding therapy. She provides therapy to those with chronic feeding difficulties including sensory aversions and oral motor dysfunction. She also specializes in infant bottle feeding and gastrostomy tube transitioning. Bri also provides pelvic floor therapy, where she works with children and adolescents with pelvic floor dysfunction. Bri's favorite part about occupational therapy is getting to incorporate fun and meaningful activities that are unique to her patients. In her free time, Bri loves to golf, hike and explore new restaurants.

Leanna Dalfonso, P.T., DPT, Assistant Center Manager

Leanna graduated with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Gordon College and doctorate of physical therapy at Husson University. Leanna loves working with children of all ages and helping them achieve their full potential. Leanna has experience working with children with torticollis, developmental delay, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, idiopathic toe walking and numerous neurodevelopmental and musculoskeletal disorders. Leanna has completed training in task specific electrical stimulation and serves as a clinical instructor to students. She enjoys Irish dance and playing with her dog.

Rebecca Lynch, OTR/L

Becca graduated from Bay Path University with a master's degree in occupational therapy. She has attended additional courses on trauma informed care and feeding therapy. She volunteered with the Veteran's Adaptive Sports and Training program for three years, gaining experience using leisure activities to promote occupational therapy skills. Becca focuses on play-based activities and neurodiversity affirming care. She enjoys roller skating, horseback riding and spending time outside.

Abigail Hopkins, MSOT, OTR/L

Abby earned a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and master's degree in occupational therapy from Ithaca College. Her career path has included working in CT, CO, CA and now ME. She has worked with children and families in early intervention, public and private schools, and an outpatient clinic. Abby spent four years working at a school for deaf and hard of hearing children, where she became proficient in her use of American Sign Language and Pro Tactile American Sign Language. Abby has additional training in sensory processing and integration, neurodevelopmental treatment, visual motor and perceptual skills, handwriting and social emotional learning. She has also completed courses in DIR/Floortime and play and believes in a child- and family-centered approach to therapy. Abby is a coffee lover, bookworm, hiker, rock climber and thrift store addict.

Bridget Lynch, MSOT, OTR/L

Bridget graduated from Husson University in 2023, earning a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and public health and a master's degree in occupational therapy. During her clinical rotations, Bridget gained experience working in pediatric outpatient clinic, adaptive day camps and school settings. Bridget has experience working with children with emotional regulation challenges, developmental delays, autism, down syndrome, ADHD and sensory processing challenges. Bridget enjoys reading, spending time outside and doing art.

Sierra Duggan, MSOT, OTR/L

Sierra earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Simmons University in 2022, followed by a master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Southern Maine in 2024. During the 2024 spring, she completed a student placement at Saco Bay Kids, where she gained valuable experience working with children of various ages and diagnoses. Sierra has always known she wanted to become an occupational therapist, inspired by the positive impact occupational therapy had on her younger cousin's life. She brings that same passion to her sessions, often incorporating movement and play to keep therapy engaging and effective.

Michelle Cawley, P.T., DPT

Michelle earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2020 and doctorate of physical therapy from Husson University in 2022. Michelle has always wanted to work with children and has clinical experience in the school setting and inpatient rehab. She is excited to join such a supportive team who share the same values when it comes to childhood development. She enjoys skiing, hiking and mountain biking around Maine.

Kathryn Nafis, P.T., DPT

Kathryn earned her bachelor's degree in health science and doctorate in physical therapy from Springfield College in Massachusetts. She loves working with children and their families to make physical therapy interventions individualized, fun and play-based. Kathryn has experience working with a variety of populations including idiopathic toe walking, torticollis, amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome, as well as many other neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She is also an APTA certified clinical instructor for graduate students. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys traveling, reading and spending time outside kayaking or skiing.

Kayla David, P.T., DPT

Kayla earned a doctorate in physical therapy in 2023 from South College. She completed her final clinical rotation with Saco Bay Kids and is excited to continue to serve this community. During her clinical rotation she gained experience working with children with a variety of diagnosis including torticollis and plagiocephaly, developmental delay, idiopathic toe-walking, cerebral palsy and more. She also has a keen interest in pelvic health therapy and is working toward certification. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, quilting, painting and trying new recipes.

Kylee Parker, M.S., C.F., SLP

Kylee attended Colby-Sawyer College and received her bachelor's degree in child development. After graduation, she worked in early childhood education for five years. Kylee went on to receive her master's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Emerson College. During her graduate program, Kylee completed her placements with children and adults across the age span. Kylee has worked with individuals with ASD, expressive and receptive language disorders, deficits in cognitive communication and dysphagia. Kylee enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as running marathons and ultramarathons.

Emma Welter, M.S., C.F., SLP

Emma graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorder from Minnesota State University, Mankato and went on to earn her master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She loves working with the pediatric population. Emma has experience working with a variety of ages and disorders including, articulation, phonology, stuttering, childhood apraxia of speech and language delays. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, going for bike rides, skiing and shopping. Emma is new to Maine and would appreciate recommendations on favorite spots and activities!

Hannah Bailey, Patient Service Specialist

Hannah graduated with a degree in health science with an administrative focus. She is new to the outpatient setting, bringing with her administrative experience primarily in hospitals. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and near the beach.

Alice Wiegers, Patient Service Specialist

Alice has recently graduated high school and is now pursuing a career in the medical field. She's been interested in health care after taking classes in school. Alice is excited to advance in her medical knowledge. She is passionate about helping kids and working with them for as long as she can remember. Alice enjoys the beach, spending time with friends and her two dogs, Maple and Frey.

Anne-Marie Provencal, O.T.

Anne-Marie is an occupational therapist who specializes in acute to chronic hand, wrist and elbow injuries. with more than four years of experience treating upper extremity injuries, Anne-Marie has gained hands-on knowledge and expertise in various treatment methods including manual treatment, therapeutic exercises, modality applications, activity modifications and custom splint fabrication.

She enjoys helping people manage pain and symptoms through a holistic approach as well as to educate them on the importance of a healthy lifestyle through movement and strengthening.

Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her dog, Mosby, and skiing and hiking the mountains of New England.

Maggie Clancy, M.A., CF-SLP

Maggie earned her bachelor's degree in speech language pathology from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and her master's degree in communicative sciences and disorders from Michigan State University.

Maggie has worked with patients across the lifespan and across care settings. Her pediatric experiences include working with children with expressive and receptive language disorders, ASD, articulation and phonological disorders, stuttering and childhood apraxia of speech. Maggie is an individual with hearing loss and loves to use her lived experience to teach her patients their own communication advocacy skills.

In her free time, you can find her exploring the state of Maine by hiking, trying new restaurants and shopping at thrift stores.

Amelia Dudevoir

Amelia Dudevoir is a happy, sweet, spunky 5-year-old girl who has been coming to Saco Bay Kids Pediatric Therapy her whole life. Amelia has Rett syndrome, a genetic disorder that predominantly affects females, and hinders the nervous system. It impacts speech and communication, breathing, feeding, swallowing and more. Since coming to Saco Bay Kids, Amelia has made great progress while working with her team of occupational, physical and speech therapists. She has gained motor control, strength, balance, coordination and communication. She is better able to participate in everyday activities, like playing with her toys, feeding herself and communicating with her loved ones. She works hard in her sessions and is a true rock star. We are so proud of your progress, Amelia, and we're excited to see what you do next.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational and speech therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy helps children build social skills. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.
