Saco Bay Kids Pediatric Therapy helps children with their physical, occupational or speech therapy needs. Our highly trained clinical team will design a specialized plan of care that is just right for your child. Our Team

Emily Mullen, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

Emily earned her bachelor's degree in health science and minor in entrepreneurship and small business management in 2017 and doctorate in physical therapy in 2020 at Quinnipiac University. She is certified in dry needling, task specific functional e-stim and treadmill for children with autism and apraxia protocol. Emily specializes in infant and toddler gross motor development, torticollis and plagiocephaly treatment and those who have limb differences or limb loss. She is an American Physical Therapy Association certified clinical instructor and enjoys teaching physical therapy students. In her free time, you can find volunteering as a physical therapist team leader for Camp No Limits, a non-profit organization for children with limb differences or limb loss, and exploring everything Maine has to offer.

Phoebe Schembre, P.T., DPT

Phoebe earned her bachelor's degree in public health promotion and education from the University of Indianapolis and her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Montana. She completed her clinical rotations in pediatric, neuro and orthopedic settings working with a variety of ages.

Phoebe specializes in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, equipment evaluations and gross motor development. She has completed continuing education in concussion and vestibular rehabiliation and is working with adults and kids patients currently.

She has experience with wheelchairs and adaptive stroller evaluations working with local companies to get patients their equipment to navigate their environment.

She volunteers for Empower SCI, which works with adults and kids with spinal cord injuries.

Phoebe enjoys hiking with her dog and playing ultimate frisbee.

Rosie Ankhartz, M.S., CCC-SLP

Rosie is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy. She has a Maine Board of Speech, Audiology, and Hearing license and a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Rosie earned a Bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. She has provided direct speech therapy services to children with a wide range of needs, including early childhood language development, expressive and receptive language, fluency, augmentative and alternative communication and social communication. In 2021, Rosie was a New Hampshire-Maine Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Fellow. She enjoys cooking, baking and reading fiction.

Heather Emmons, Patient Service Specialist

Heather earned her bachelor's degree in health sciences at the University of Southern Maine. Heather has always enjoyed working in the health care administration setting serving as an advocate for patients, ensuring they are scheduled for the care they need and understanding their financial responsibility and insurance benefits. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, bowling and exploring different restaurants in the Biddeford/Portland area.

Seth Fineman, P.T., DPT

Seth's path to physical therapy grew from his passion for helping others reach their potential and his knack for connecting with people from all walks of life. He earned his bachelor's degree in outdoor education from Sterling College in rural Vermont, then spent several years working in adaptive sports, wilderness therapy and just about every kind of field guide role under the sun. Eventually, he traded hiking boots for textbooks and earned his doctorate in physical therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. Seth first joined this center as a student during his final clinical rotation as a student and is now a full-time physical therapist, working with both children and young adults. When he's not in the center, you'll find him training for triathlons, exploring the fine art of cooking and eating well or crafting the perfect pun-sometimes all at once.

Kayla Scott, M.S., OTR/L

Kayla earned her bachelor's degree in applied exercise science and her master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of New England. She completed her level II fieldwork in acute care and pediatric settings working with a variety or ages and diagnosis. Kayla has been working with the pediatric population for as long as she can remember, from years of being a camp councelor/director to nannying. She is also bilingual in speaking Spanish and English. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys going to the lake and hanging out with friends and family.

OrthoVive Joint Health

Dedicated to managing discomfort and loss of function, OrthoVive Joint Health meets you where you are in your osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, journey, treating the condition and extending the life of your joint. Our therapists can enhance the results of non-surgical treatments and, when surgery is needed, serve as your guide and coach maximizing the use of your new joint. We support your success through pre-operative education, prehabilitation and post-operative care.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy services – physical, occupational and speech therapy – to help children reach developmental milestones. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses themselves. Small group therapy helps children build social skills. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe-walking and torticollis, are also available. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation is the first nationwide comprehensive oncology rehabilitation program of its kind.
