    Ryan B. Cyr, P.T., OMT, FAAOMPT - Market Manager
    Ryan B. Cyr
    Ryan received a master's degree in physical therapy in 2002 from the University of New England's College of Health Science2. Currently, Ryan is Market Manger for Saco Bay Physical Therapy. Ryan specializes in orthopaedic manual physical therapy. He completed a residency program at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in Woburn and a fellowship program in December 2005. His focus is on advanced orthopaedic manual and manipulative physical therapy skills for management of spine and extremity disorders. He has been an adjunct faculty member for the Physical Therapy Department at the University of New England since 2006. Ryan teaches spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization at the University and his centers serve as a clinical placement site for students.
    Larry Risigo, P.T., OMT - Regional Director
    Larry Risigo
    Larry is a 1985 graduate of the University of New England where he received the Erma C. Myer Award for clinical excellence. He is the Regional Director for Saco Bay Physical Therapy. In 2003, he completed a two-year advanced orthopaedic manual therapy residency program at the Institute of Manual Therapy in Woburn, MA. Licensed in both Maine and Massachusetts, Larry has worked in the outpatient physical therapy field for 31 years. He specializes in orthopaedic manual therapy and has a particular interest in spine care. He is an adjunct professor for the University of New England and teaches gross anatomy and musculoskeletal physical therapy. Larry co-founded Saco Bay Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in 1988.
    Stephen McDavitt, P.T., DPT, M.S., FAAOMPT, FAPTA
    Stephen  McDavitt
    Stephen received a bachelor's and master's degree in physical therapy from Boston University. He also received a doctorate in physical therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. He is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and the American Physical Therapy Association. Steve has held physical therapy faculty positions at Boston University, University of New England, and University of St. Augustine. He has worked at Saco Bay Physical Therapy in Scarborough since 2002 and specializes in rehabilitation and functional restoration of complex orthopaedic spine and extremity cases. Steve served the APTA as President of the Orthopaedic Section and on the APTA Board of Directors and numerous other board positions throughout AAOMPT. For more than 30 years, he has been directly involved with physical therapist practice advocacy both locally and nationally.
    Lesley Hoey, DPT
    Lesley Hoey
    Lesley has been active in the fields of health, wellness and rehabilitation for more than 30 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 1984 from Springfield College and doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2008 from the University of New England. Lesley studied whole foods cooking and nutrition, taught whole foods cooking classes, was a private chef and trained in yoga and somatics. She became certified in integrative yoga therapy and, in 2000, she opened her own yoga studio, River Yoga and Movement Center in Westbrook. After becoming a physical therapist, Lesley continued to specialize in women’s and men’s health by becoming a pelvic floor rehabilitation specialist. She integrates her extensive training in dance, yoga, somatics, exercise science and physical therapy into her clinical practice.
    Melissa Burleson, PTA
    Melissa Burleson
    Melissa received a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Keene State College and an associate's degree in physical therapist assistant from Mount Washington College. Melissa began working for Saco Bay Physical Therapy in 2014. She enjoys working with all patients to meet their individual needs. In her spare time, Melissa loves playing soccer, running, hiking and being with her family.
    Deborah Cavanaugh, PT
    Deborah Cavanaugh
    Deb graduated from Duke University in 1986 with a masters degree in Physical Therapy. In 2013, she earned a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. Her primary expertise is in neurorehabilitation, although she believes that her strong background and interest in orthopedic physical therapy enables her to be a more effective therapist for clients with neurological disorders. She has certifications in LSVT BIG for Parkinson Disease, ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation, and POWR (Personalized Orthopedic Weight Reduction). Deb is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of New England in the physical therapy doctoral program in Portland. In her spare time, Deb enjoys tennis, triathlons, gardening, and playing with Beacon, her Wheaten Terrier puppy.
