At Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, our experienced clinical team will design an individualized plan of care that aligns with your specific goals in mind. Saco Bay offers a wide range of services, dedicated to treating patients of varying age groups and activity levels:

Orthopedics: Whether you've sustained a mild strain, or have had a major surgical procedure, our physical therapists will work with you in a goal-oriented program to regain maximal, pain-free function.

Sports Medicine: We provide sport rehabilitation services for multiple local high schools onsite and in our center. The goal of our physical therapists and athletic trainers is to return injured athletes to their optimal performance level in whichever sport they participate.

Industrial: We are focused on returning injured workers back to their place of employment in a timely and safe manner. We will provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

Our Team

Payson Nichols, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

Payson joined our team in November 2021. He has been practicing since 2020 and is passionate about sports orthopedics and helping patients return to an active lifestyle on or off the field. He has taken continuing education courses on instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and kinesio taping and is a qualified TRX suspension system trainer. Payson is completing certification in spinal manipulation through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. Payson completed his undergraduate work through the University of Maine System, and doctorate of physical therapy from Husson University. He enjoys playing with his three girls, running, hiking and coaching soccer. He also competed in the Chicago marathon, finishing in a time of 2:51.

Christine Guerrette, P.T., DPT

Christine has been with Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy since 2022. Christine came to Saco Bay after starting her career doing inpatient physical therapy. She enjoys working with athletes of all ages, patients with post-operative conditions, core training and stability and other orthopedic rehabilitation. Christine completed her undergraduate education and doctorate of physical therapy from Husson University. She recently became dry needling certified. Christine enjoys her free time with her spouse, playing with her dog and skiing.

Kyle DeLiberty, P.T., DPT, ATC

Kyle joined the Saco Bay team in October 2023. Originally from the Philadelphia area, he earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Delaware and doctorate of physical therapy from Washington University. Kyle has taken numerous continuing education courses focused on improving care for patients with jaw and neck pain and connective tissue disorders. Kyle also serves as an athletic trainer at Husson University. Kyle lives with his wife and dog and they enjoying spending time outdoors across all four seasons.
