Our Team

Payson Nichols, P.T., DPT

Payson is one of the newest members to the Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy team. He has been practicing for three years, is passionate about sports orthopedics and helping his patients return to an active lifestyle on or off the field. Payson is currently in the process of completing his certification in spinal manipulation through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. He also has taken continuing education courses on instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, Kinesio taping and is a qualified TRX suspension system trainer. Payson completed his undergraduate work through the University of Maine system and is a proud graduate of Husson University School of Physical Therapy, graduating with his doctorate in 2019.

Emily Odermann, M.S., OTR/L, CHT

Emily specializes in therapy for upper extremity conditions including fractures, dislocations, tendinopathies and arthritis that impact the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and fingers. She recognizes the impact these conditions can have on participation in daily activities and the importance of recovery. She combines her expertise as a certified hand therapist and her genuine personality to support, guide and encourage patients through their rehabilitation journey and return to successful participation in meaningful activities. She loves biking, being outside and on the water, gardening, painting and reading. She is a Mainer and grew up in Freeport. Emily received her undergraduate degree at the University of Maine at Farmington and master's degree at the University of New England.
