At Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, our experienced clinical team will design an individualized plan of care that aligns with your specific goals in mind. Saco Bay offers a wide range of services, dedicated to treating patients of varying age groups and activity levels:

Orthopedics: Whether you've sustained a mild strain, or have had a major surgical procedure, our physical therapists will work with you in a goal-oriented program to regain maximal, pain-free function.

Sports Medicine: We provide sport rehabilitation services for multiple local high schools onsite and in our center. The goal of our physical therapists and athletic trainers is to return injured athletes to their optimal performance level in whichever sport they participate.

Industrial: We are focused on returning injured workers back to their place of employment in a timely and safe manner. We will provide highly focused functional rehabilitation programs that ensure ideal return-to-work status. We also provide screening procedures designed to ensure safety in the workplace.

Our Team

Courtney Churchill, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

Courtney has been a member of Saco Bay Physical Therapy since 2021. She attended and graduated with her bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2014 and her doctorate of physical therapy in 2016 from Husson University. She has worked in outpatient orthopedic and skilled nursing settings since graduation. Courtney specializes in post-operative and orthopedic rehabilitation with special interests in helping patients return to athletic and recreational activities. She is Sportsmetrics certified, a program designed for ACL rehabilitation and return to sport, and holds certifications also in cupping, Graston, Mulligan technique, dry needling, selective functional movement assessment and performs running assessments. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, riding her motorcycle, skiing and spending time with family.

Christopher Pomerleau, P.T., DPT

Christopher Pomerleau has been practicing physical therapy with Saco Bay since August of 2022. He completed his Bachelor's in Kinesiology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2022 from Husson University. He has a particular interest in manual therapies, muscular imbalance and chronic pain syndromes. He is certified in dry needling, personalized orthopedic weight loss, and has a primary interest in treating back and neck pain. He is an avid distance runner who competed in high school and college track and cross country, and enjoys skiing, hiking and playing video games in his free time. He is a published author with ACSM online and is currently using accelerometers to study variations in human movement.

Garth Beremyi, P.T.

Garth joined the Saco Bay team in March of 2022. He loves patient care and watching his patients accomplish his/her goals. He was born in New Jersey, but has spent the past three decades with his wife and 5 children in Maine providing health care services to Mainers. Even though Garth has spent the last two decades primarily providing services to seniors in Maine, he enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Garth has worked as a clinician in the inpatient, skilled nursing and outpatient settings making him very well-rounded. He specializes in balance, geriatrics, strength and conditioning, orthopedic and occupational rehabilitation. He is also has certification/training in dry needling.
